Geraldine Burningham Olsen

Our loving Sister, Aunt, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed away peacefully on September 12, 2018. Born July 6, 1935, in Salt Lake City Utah, to Amos Delmar Burningham and Mirtis Twitchell Burningham. Married Lawrence Joseph Olsen September 11, 1969 in the Salt Lake City Temple.

She was raised in Woods Cross area and went to school there. She graduated from Davis High. She also attended BYU. She worked at Hill Air Force Base before serving a mission for the LDS church in the Sao Paulo, Brasil Mission. She also worked at the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City.

She enjoyed going on trips with her family as well as camping and being in the outdoors with them. She loved drawing, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially the grandkids and great grandkids.

She was studying to be a master herbalist.

She was an active faithful member of the LDS faith all her life. She enjoyed her callings. Served with her husband as the ward librarian and in the nursery. Also serving with him 3 Years as Service missionaries in the South Davis Care Center.

She is survived by two sons, Gary (Kaylynn) and Stephen (Kari), four grandchildren,
and two great grandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters. Was preceded in Death By, parents and husband Lawrence Joseph Olsen.

A viewing will be held Monday, September 17, 2018 from 6-8pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 11am in the Bountiful 41st Ward, 33 South Moss Hill Drive, with a viewing at 9:45am. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
