Gilbert Blaine Pearce

Our strong, hardworking, caring and loving father, grandpadad, uncle, and friend, Gilbert Blaine Pearce, 86, of Bountiful, Utah, died May 16, 2019 after a long battle with an illness, at a local hospital, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born February 4, 1933 in Richmond, Utah, to Edward Ivan and Annie Elizabeth Pearce. Survived by brother Glen (Peggy) Pearce, his seven children; Tony Blaine Pearce, William Dean (Beth) Pearce, Jolynn Sylva (David) Gove, David Benjamin (Tammy) Pearce, Steven James (Inez) Pearce, Vickie Ann (David) Boulden, and Victor Mark (Nancy) Pearce, twenty-three grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Rayma Norene Lee Pearce, brothers Dean, Bill, Don, and Louis, sisters, Velma, Idonna, and Betty Lou.

Gilbert loved to play and watch all kinds of sports, favorite was basketball. Gil loved to fish, play his guitar and sing to entertain anyone that would listen. Gil was a devoted and caring husband and father. He never shied away from hard work and knew his responsibilities and always kept his promises.

Gilbert’s life will be celebrated with a Memorial service held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 2:00 P.M at the New Hope Fellowship, 1204 East 1450 South, Clearfield, Utah, 84015. Bring your memories.
