Glen Crouch

August 21, 1932 — April 11, 2011

Glen Richard Crouch, 78, passed away at his home in Kaysville, Utah on April 11, 2011 after a lingering illness. He was born August 21, 1932 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Milne E. and Kate Thomas Crouch. He served a three year mission in New Zealand where he helped in the building of the temple. He married his lovely bride, Janet Pedersen, on June 7, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple. He spent his career with State Hardware and Farmers Insurance Group, which took the family from North Salt Lake and Grand Junction to West Bountiful, Denver, and Pocatello; he eventually retired to Kaysville. Although he served as a bishop, stake presidency counselor, and in many other church callings, his favorite was Scoutmaster. Glen had an affinity for horses, bluegrass music, an honest day’s work and he could find a common connection with everyone he met. Although a graduate of University of Utah, he was a dedicated BYU Cougars fan.

Glen is survived by his wife, Janet, daughter Connie (Rick) Koval of Reno, sons Brent Crouch of Las Vegas, Jeff (Linda) Crouch of Eagle, ID, Chad (Coreen) Crouch of Salt Lake City, and Justin (Amy) Jolley of Riverton. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sisters Irene (Mark) Hayes, Dolores (George) Miller, Diane (Stuart) Tague, and brother Jerry Crouch. He was preceded in death by daughter Colleen and brothers Rex, Bruce and Kenneth.

A viewing will be held Friday, Apri1 15 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 North Main, Farmington, Utah 84025 (across from Cherry Hill).
