Glen Max Widdison, 46, passed away February 25, 2017 in Centerville, UT. He was born on November 5, 1970, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Bruce Berry and Ramona Widdison.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was an Eagle Scout. He attended Viewmont High School graduating in 1989.
He worked in the grocery store business serving as a manager in many departments for 25 years (he considered himself a professional can stacker), and loved taking care of the customers and keeping the shelves stocked. He built lifelong relationships with many co-workers, customers, and vendors over the years.
Glen enjoyed going to the Salt Lake Real soccer games with his children, was an avid Nascar fan and attended four races in Las Vegas. He also enjoyed watching the University of Utah, New York Yankees and the Utah Jazz. He supported all of his children in their various school events, church service, and activities over the years. He tried hard to attend every game, dance recital, band concert, choir concert and school program.
He is survived by his children Jessica (fiancé, Will Schutz), Whitney, McKenzie, Spencer and Jackson Widdison, parents Bruce and Ramona Widdison, sister JoAnn (Glade) Porter, niece Rochelle and nephews Derek and Stockton Porter. He was preceded in death by his brother John Widdison.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 2 at 11:00 AM at the Parrish Heights LDS Ward, 610 Rowland Way (1st East). Centerville. Friends may call at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful, Wednesday, March 1 from 6 to 8 PM and again Thursday morning 9:45 to 10:45 AM at the Church.
