In loving memory of our Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Brother, who recently returned to his Heavenly Father after a struggle with Cancer on November 24, 2017 at the age of 88.

Glen is preceded in death by his Mother Lily Bean, Father David Bean and Great Grandson Jaxin Riley Jensen.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Noriene Bean. They were married in February of 1953 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple

Glen is lovingly remembered by His children; Stephanie & David Loesch of Fruit Heights, Utah; Tim & Colleen Bean of North Salt Lake City, Utah;  Michele & Rock Jensen of Yuma, Arizona;  Kerby & Stacie Bean of Flagstaff Arizona. Also survived by his brothers, Lee L Bean of Bountiful Utah and David L Bean of Twin Falls, Idaho. Glen has 17 Grand Children and 26 Great Grand Children.

Glen was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in August of 1929. He graduated from West High School in 1947 and studied at Weber State University in Ogden Utah. He progressed through a career in sales management involving territories of the western United States.

Glen was drafted in the US Army and served in the Counter Intelligence Services in Baltimore Md for two years. 

Glen served faithfully in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints throughout his life, dedicating 2 years to serving in the LDS Northern Central States Mission.  He also served as a counselor in a Bishopric and then later as Bishop.  Following his career, he served in the Salt Lake Temple as a Temple worker for 2 years, as the Temple Square Associate Director for 4 years and as the Director of Church Historical Sites in Kirtland Ohio for 2 years.

His life and influence among those he touched during his journey here will be greatly missed.  A viewing will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main St, Bountiful Utah on November 30th, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. 

The funeral service will be held at the Muller Park LDS Church, 1825 South 800 East, Bountiful UT on December 1st, 2017 at 11:00am. Friends can greet the family at the church prior to the funeral beginning at 10:00am.

Interment to follow at Lake View Memorial Cemetery, 1640 Lakeview Drive, Bountiful Utah.
