Glenda deChamplain

December 12, 1937 — July 6, 2016

Glenda deChamplain passed away on July 6, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. Glenda was born on December 12, 1937 in Berlin, New Hampshire. Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; parents, Walter Berwick and Hazel Edwards; and brothers Walter Jr. and Bruce.

Glenda is survived by two daughters and son-in-laws, 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and a sister and brother.

On August 22, 1959, Glenda married Albert deChamplain in Laconia, New Hampshire. In 1973, Glenda and Albert were baptized, along with their two daughters, into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They were sealed in the Los Angeles LDS Temple in June of 1974.

As a result, they enjoyed the company of the Elders in their home and grew to love missionary work.  Glenda was very interested in Genealogy and after her conversion, she dedicated many years of service searching her ancestors records and doing their work.  She found great joy also in cross-stitching, crochet, square dancing and line dancing.

We would like to thank Evergreen Hospice, especially RN Julie Curtis and CNA Anjanette Spears for their tender and compassionate care of our dear mother.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the Bountiful Heights Stake Center, 720 East 550 North, Bountiful. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Tuesday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
