Gloria Jenkins Hancock

Gloria Jenkins Hancock was born June 13, 1934, in Lewisville, Idaho.  The daughter of William Albert Jenkins and Susan Idella Michaelson.  She was reunited with her eternal companion Darold Lee Hancock on April 11, 2016.

Gloria married her best friend and sweetheart on August 31, 1950. They were later sealed for time and eternity on March 15, 1963. Gloria’s family was her everything. 

She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She loves the Lord. He has been with her always, while raising her children and fulfilling many callings in the church.

She enjoyed working 23 years for the Davis County Food Service, with many friends.

Gloria is leaving behind her two daughters, Patricia Lee Hancock DuPaix Christensen (Sam), and Christine Sue Hancock Jessop (Carl), and her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Her two sisters, Nola Rae Jenkins Burgess, Provo, Utah, and Carol Joyce Jenkins Kotz, Gilmer, Texas.

Gloria will be joining her parents, her Eternal Companion, and two sons, William Elijah Hancock, and James Darold Hancock.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah.  Viewings will be held at the mortuary Friday, April 15, 2016, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., and Saturday from 9:45 -10:45 a.m. prior to the service.  Interment at Centerville City Cemetery.
