Grant "Pops" Chorley Neath

Our amazing father, grandpa, husband, uncle, neighbor, and friend, Grant Chorley Neath passed away on April 27, 2018 with family by his side.

Grant is survived by his wife of 44 years, Teri Elkins Neath, his high school sweetheart and the love of his life. He is also survived by his three children; Grant “Punk”, Krista (Mike), and Tim (Julie) as well as his six grandchildren (Makenzie, Damon, Aly, Gavin, Xander and John). He is also survived by his sister Shauna.

Grant was born on April 30th 1955 in Bountiful, Utah, to Nora and Grant Neath. After the passing of his parents, he was raised by his grandfather, Grant S. Neath.

Grant started his job with the gas company 27 years ago and it quickly became a career that he loved.

Outside of work, Grant had a love of chariot racing, where he was a driver and a starter for over 30 years. He also had a deep love for animals and the outdoors. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and his neighbors, who became some of his closest friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, UT.  Viewings will be held Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 6-8:00 pm, and on Friday from 9:45-10:45 am prior to the service.
