Gregory Peters

Gregory Peters, age 63, passed away on June 22, 2022.  He was born July 4, 1958, in Salt Lake City, Utah to William L. and Ruth M. Engelbrecht Peters.

Greg grew up in Bountiful, Utah, where he enjoyed golf, baseball, hockey, detailing cars, and being a firefighter.  He attended both Woods Cross and Viewmont High Schools and graduated from Viewmont.

Greg worked for 44 years at Wheeler Machinery as a parts representative and a firefighter for 20 years at South Davis Fire.

Greg is survived by his son Nick, as well as many family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main St., Bountiful, Utah 84010 where a family gathering will be held Saturday morning from 8:45-9:45 a.m. prior to services.

Services will be streamed live on the Russon Brothers Mortuary Facebook page and on this obituary page.  The live stream will begin about 10-15 minutes prior to the service and will be posted below.

Interment will be in the Bountiful City Cemetery at a later date.
