Gregory Thomas Miner

Touching lives through love, Greg brought joy to all who crossed his path.  Greg’s noble journey leads us to greater compassion and empathy, guides us to love as God loves as he continues to walk beside us toward our heavenly home.

Greg came into this world as one of God’s most precious children on January 17, 1965, to his loving parents Thomas M and Carol Spencer Miner.  During his first years he lived in California while his father attended Veterinary School at UC Davis.  He loved to swim every day, go for bike rides with his Mom and eat crab at Fisherman’s Wharf.  The small family moved to Bountiful, Utah when he was 5 years old where he was joined by six siblings. Many friends and neighbors lovingly watched over Greg through his early years.

As a teenager, he moved to a twin home on the campus of the Utah State Developmental Center in American Fork.  We express our deep gratitude and appreciation to those who so tenderly cared for him throughout his life.

Though his words were few, the lessons he taught last a lifetime.

Greg is survived by parents Tom & Carol Miner (Bountiful), and siblings: Reed & Chantal Carr (Gilbert, AZ), Eric & Kami Calder (Bountiful, UT), Mike & Kim Miner (Bountiful, UT), Chris & Tibi Hoge (NSL,UT), Derek & Stephanie Miner (NSL, UT), Kim & Cece Bangerter (Redmond, OR)

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, April 13, 2018 at the LDS Chapel, 1825 South 800 East, Bountiful, where a viewing will be held 1 hr prior to services.
