Gretchen Parkin passed away peacefully holding the hand of her daughter, February 21, 2019. She was born January 10, 1944 to Adolph and Marsha Bangerter. She married the love of her life, Eddie Parkin October 17, 1966. She was a stay at home mom and worked out of her home as a cosmetologist. She was a kind, caring, loving, and extraordinary woman. She made this world a better place with her kind words and loving smile.
Gretchen volunteered her time as a cosmetologist at Topham's Tiny Tots where her daughter, Mirandy was cared for from age one and half until she passed away. She was awarded mother of the year by the State of Utah and was given the award at a luncheon from the Governor for all of her time spent at the care center.
Later in life Gretchen had several health issues, despite these she never complained and was always more worried about others around
Words cannot describe how much she will be missed and not a day will go by that she will not be thought of.
