H. Duane Nichols
1930 – 2017

H. Duane Nichols, son of Harry W. and Dora Nichols passed away peacefully; March 16, 2017, surrounded by his family in Bountiful Utah.  Duane’s list of many adventures included; service in the U.S. Air Force. Attending communications center located in Cheyene, Wyoming where he earned a perfect score on the final exam. He competed in roller skating competitions, worked as a telegraph operator UPRR also doing lie detection. He absolutely loved taking pictures and was always the one behind the camera capturing the memories. Duane established and operated ‘Nichols Adjustment Bureau’. Duane is survived by his wife Barbara E. Nichols, daughters; Kim & Leslie, granddaughter; Ashley-Marie, son Geary and sister Joy Robinson.  He was preceded in death by son Shawn R. Nichols, both parents and an infant sister, 2 half brothers, Rodney and Brian Nichols.  Viewing Services will be held at Russon Brothers, 295 N Main, Bountiful,  Tuesday March 21st at 1 P.M.  Followed by interment service at 2 P.M. at the Bountiful City Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family has requested in honor of Duane to please make donations to the charity of your choice.  Online guestbook at www.russonmortuary.com
