Harold Mann passed away June 30, 2014 while on a trip to Alaska. He was born in Salt Lake City on August 12, 1943 to Dale and Elaine Mann of Bountiful, Utah. From an early age, he was a cowboy, breaking his first mustang at age 14. After serving in the London England South Mission, he married Arline Roderick in the Salt Lake Temple on December 11, 1964. Most of their married life was spent in West Bountiful, Utah where he continued as a cowboy, with all the scars to prove it.
Harold loved the Lord and treated others the way Christ taught. He was good to everyone, no matter their situation, and was especially kind to those who really needed a friend.
Harold was a wonderful dad, grandpa, brother and friend. With his jokes and stories, people always enjoyed being around him. He loved kids, horses and dogs, but more than anything else, he loved his “Little Love”, Arline. He taught us what real love looks like by the way he served, respected and cherished her.
He is already missed by his wife, children: Roger (Jill), Shane (Tina), Trina Higgins (Mike), Ben (Nicole) and Tyler (Michele), grandchildren, and surviving siblings.
