Harold Barber Wilcox, age 92, was born in Kaysville, Utah on June 11, 1914 to George Wallace and Nettie Jane Barber Wilcox. He passed away peacefully at Lakeview Hospital on December 27, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Helen White Wilcox; children, Jane Gary DeWaal, Mary Sue Eric Schwartz and Sarah John Thomson; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and his sister, Nora Barber. Harold attended Davis High School and Utah State University where he received a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. He served in the Navy during WWII in the South Pacific in the Engineering Corp. He worked for the U.S. Government Bureau of Reclamation for 43 years. He managed water projects including the building of dams, reservoirs and pipelines. He retired to Bountiful, Utah in 1982. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was an avid gardener. He enjoyed his membership in the LDS Church. His ready smile and caring nature will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel, 51 South Main, Bountiful, where friends and family may call from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
