Harriett Webb

Bountiful, UT – Harriett Heath Webb returned home to her Heavenly Father Tuesday, January 21, 2014. She was born to William Riley and Alice Elsie Heath on August 12, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married her high school sweetheart, Dail Dean Webb, in the Salt Lake Temple August 4, 1942. He died in 2006.

They lived and raised their five children Taunie (Tom) McLachlan, Ken (Kolene) Webb, Allen (Debbie) Webb, Marci (Dave) Godfrey, Marilyn (Adrian) Jackman in Bountiful. Her posterity includes 26 grandchildren plus 79 great grandchildren.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in numerous callings, especially with the young women. She made friends easily, many lifelong friends, whom she cherished. She dearly loved her family and having them around her. She made home a happy place. She was always ready for a hamburger, party, trip, or vacation. She loved to garden, snowmobile, camp, boat, and water ski (which she did on one ski until she was 84). With her eternal companion she served two LDS missions, Pennsylvania Pittsburgh and New Zealand Temple.

Survived by four of her children; two brothers and one sister. Her parents, husband, daughter Marilyn Jackman, granddaughter Jessica Jackman, two infant grandchildren and two infant great grandchildren, one sister and two brothers preceded her in death.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to the Perpetual Education or General Missionary Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Funeral services Friday, January 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Val Verda 9th Ward Chapel, 3317 South 800 West, Bountiful, with a viewing from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
