Harry Gilbert McNutt, 89, of Bountiful, Utah, formally of Warren, PA., passed away Wednesday,
December 24, 2014 after a lengthy illness.
Mr. McNutt was born October 17, 1925 in Hesbon, Indiana County, PA. He was the son of the late John Wesley and Idella Ross McNutt of Blacklick, PA. He was preceded in death by his daughter Rhandaline Elaine Ling.
He is survived by his wife, L. Jean McNutt of Bountiful, Utah; and children: Linda and husband Jim Wolfgang of College Station, TX., Debbie and husband Reggie Parr of Bountiful, UT., Colleen and husband Welster Santos of Alpine, UT., Rachele McNutt of Philadelphia, PA., and son-in-law, John Ling of Jamestown, N.Y. He is survived by 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Harry was a veteran of WWII where he served in the Navy and was a member of the elite Amphibious Scouts and Raiders and saw combat in the Pacific. Harry was well liked by everyone who knew him and will be missed by all.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West. A visitation will take place from 1-1:30 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful prior to services.
