Helma Kossin Bair, age 78, peacefully passed away in her home with her family on May 10, 2011. She was born on September 11, 1932, in Danzig, Germany, to J. Benno Kossin and Marta Groening. After losing their home she immigrated with her family to America in 1954. She felt blessed to find her eternal companion, Robert W. Bair. They were married June 20, 1958 and sealed November 10, 1959 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were married almost 53 years. She loved and enjoyed being a homemaker and raising five children, they were the most important thing in her life. She loved each of her children and their spouses and grandchildren. The most precious thing to her was her testimony and belief in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Some of the most special years of her life were serving with her husband in the Temple. They started working in the Bountiful Temple when it opened and she continued to work until 2010, with the exception of serving a full time mission with her husband to the Mormon Battalion Visitors center in San Diego. Family History was very important to her and she spent many hours with her father and continued to work diligently finding names and doing their work. Preceded in death by her parents and her sister Elinor. She is survived by her spouse, Robert W. Bair and her children, Robert J.(Pauline) Bair, Richard Bair, Susan (Ron) Fryer , Steven (Ratree) Bair and Debbie(Blaine) Hill. Twelve grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers. Special thanks to all the kind doctors and nurses. Heartfelt thanks to her nurse Deanne. Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 13, 2011, at 11 am at the Bountiful 39th Ward, 1500 South 600 East.
