Howard Allen

Howard was born March 23, 1921 to MaryAnn Evans and Herbert Allen in the town of Millcreek, and the county of Salt Lake, Utah. Died January 24, 2010 at home in Centerville, Utah, with his wife and daughter by his side. He married Beverly Pyper, June 16, 1942 and later in the temple, September 10, 1993. He served in WWII in the Southern Pacific from 1942 – 1945. He worked as a mechanic all his life. He has five children, 16 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife and one brother, Edgar Allen of Salt Lake City, Utah He was preceded in death by his mother, MaryAnn Evans, his father, Herbert Allen, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Centerville 11th Ward Chapel, 270 North 300 East. A visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Saturday morning 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
