Howard Smith Robison, age 90, passed away March 31, 2017 peacefully at home from congestive heart failure. Born April 29, 1926 to Delbert Smith Robison and Mary Belle Ellis in Provo, UT. He married Betty Ulrich June 5, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple. He served in the Navy in World War II. He graduated from Coyne Electrical College and worked for Mt. Bell for 33 years, retiring at the age of 57. He was a faithful member of the LDS church and served in many callings including Bishop and High Councilor. Howard and Betty served a full-time mission in the Michigan Lansing Mission. They also served as missionaries in the Bountiful Utah South Stake. He loved boating, gardening, woodworking and being with family. He is survived by his wife and four children; Sue (Paul) Christopherson, Scott (Marianne) Robison, Jane (Scott) Hart, and Connie (Richard) Collins, 11 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dee, and grandson, Michael Christopherson. A viewing will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N Main, Bountiful, UT. The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00 am preceded by a viewing from 10:00-10:45 am at the Bountiful 39th Ward, 1500 S 600 E, Bountiful, UT. Interment at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
