Ida Sharp Davis

Ida Sharp Davis, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully May 23, 2015 surrounded by her family.
Ida was born September 3, 1936 to Delbert Lamb Sharp and Ada Taylor Sharp in Winder, Idaho. She married her true love, Golden Francis Davis April 2, 1953. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan, Utah Temple.
The light of her life was her family which she brought together through fun celebrations and family traditions. She was and continues to be the glue that holds this family together. She will be forever cherished.
Ida’s beautiful life revolved around serving her family, her God and those in need. She served many years in Primary and Relief Society. She also served as the Young Women’s President of the South Davis Handicapped Mutual and joined her husband in service at the South Davis Community Center Hospital.
She worked in the Davis County School Lunch Program, always giving a smile and kind word to those she thought might be struggling. She developed enduring relationships everywhere she served.
She is survived by her husband, Golden; her children, Richard (Chris), Jack (Teresa), Kent (Caroline), Joy; grandchildren, Meagan, Tyler, Michael (Jacee), Mitchell, Shaun, Kirby (Jake), Kersey, Kenzy, Rusty, (Codi), Jody, Sam (David); her great-children, Ryker, Phoenix, Skyler, and two on the way.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Bonnie Jean; her parents, Delbert and Ada and grandson, Dallas.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Bountiful 54th Ward Chapel, 540 N. 1200 E. Friends may call Friday evening 6 to 8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main and Saturday morning 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment- Preston, ID City Cemetery.
