Irene Freeman Wall

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother passed away peacefully in her sleep November 27, 2018 at the age of 98.  She was born in Brigham City, Utah to Wilford and Esther Freeman.  She attended school in Brigham City and later graduated from Utah State University in Logan.  She taught school for 5 years.  She served an LDS Mission in Great Britain.  She married John Ray Wall on April 5, 1950 in the Logan temple.  They are the parents of ten children, 52 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren with more on the way.  

She was self  taught on the piano and taught all ten of her children and many grandchildren and neighbor children to play.  She spent many years in the primary playing the piano and never missed a note.  She also served in other church callings.  She played the organ in the temple for a short time.

 Irene is survived by her husband John “Ray”, children Johnny (Nancy) Wall,  Mary Ann (John) Wells, Jimmy (Ranee) Wall, Karen Wall, Becky (Von) Osguthorpe, Debbie (Mike) Brady, Sharon (Jerry) Bielstein, David (Holly) Wall, Michael (Colene) Wall, Patty (Vince) Hamilton.  Preceded in death by her parents Wilford and Esther Freeman, all her siblings  Lee, Frank, Earl, Glen, Dwight, Wanda and Elaine.  Granddaughter Danielle Rebekka Bielstein.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Bountiful Utah Orchard Stake Center, 3599 South Orchard Drive, Bountiful, Utah, where a viewing will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment Bountiful Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thanks to all the care givers Irene has had over the past years.
