Jacob Donald Weggemann returned to his heavenly father September 29, 2015.
Jacob is survived by his father Allen Weggemann and his girlfriend Sheri Fowers and mother Kimberly Weggemann Farra and her husband Joseph Farra, brothers Zachary and Kaleb, sister Amelia, Grandfather John Weggemann, Grandmother Marlene Kranendonk and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
At the time of his passing Jacob was 16 years old and just 15 days shy of his 17th birthday, October 14, 1998.
Jacob was a beautiful person. His love of life, love for family was greater than anyone we knew. Jacob loved sports, especially wrestling with his teammates at Fairfield Jr High and Davis High School. His love of sport extended beyond the wrestling mat to Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Jacob truly loved camping and hiking with his dad and brother, loved the ocean, jumping into the waves, shoveling sand at the beach , working out, lifting weights, running, swimming and being with his family and friends.
Jacob had the biggest heart; he lived life to the fullest. He always put his loved ones first and was loved by everyone who met him. Jacob was a junior at Highland High School and worked at Bountiful Recreation Center as a life guard. Jacob wanted us to tell everyone he worked with that he loved them. Jacob is our hero, his passing leaves all who loved him with a huge hole in our heart.
As we all continue to live our lives, please keep Jacob's memory in your heart and live your life to the fullest. Jacob will be missed.
