“Jimmy D” passed away suddenly on August 24, 2011 of a heart attack, just two weeks shy of his 49 birthday. Born September 7, 1962 to proud parents, Darold and Gloria Hancock. He is finally fishing with his Dad. Jimmy was a mighty fine man who was a die hard Ford lover. He enjoyed working on his 1975 Ford pick up while blasting Def Leppard and sporting his trade mark curly mullet. He loved to talk and never skipped a beat. Jimmy always had a smile on his face and always made everyone laugh. He loved everyone and was a proud Dad who always bragged about his kids, Rory, Moo-Moo, Josh, Butch and 5 grandkids. He leaves behind the love of his life of 29 years, LaLa. The warmth of your hug and the sparkle in your eyes will forever be missed by all. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a memorial account that has been set up at Wells Fargo under Jimmy Hancock. Services will be held Wednesday, August 31 at 11:00am. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, UT., where a viewing will be held Tuesday, August 30 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. and Wednesday, 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
