Obituary for Bonnie Burrows Chase Young:

Bonnie Burrows was born 15 October 1937 in Springville, Utah, to Herbert "C" Burrows and Ruth Harmison Burrows, the oldest of nine children (her youngest brother was born six months before her eldest child).

Bonnie was preceded in death by her siblings Eva Lue (Wayne), Ila (Bert) Pay, Bliss Burrows, Enid Burrows, and Sharon Burrows (who died as an infant).

Bonnie is survived by a sister, Marian (Wynn) Everett, and two brothers, Clark (Linda) Burrows and Herb (Pamela) Burrows. Bonnie is also survived by her three children from her first marriage: Katherine Elaine (Jay) Adamson, Lora Jean (Gary) Brown, and Christopher Layton (Jacqueline) Chase.

Bonnie also raised her brother Clark's two eldest daughters, Cheryl (Lisa) Birtz and Lynn Burrows, as well as raising Lynn's two boys for six years (Brad Smith and Kevin Burrows).

Bonnie married James (Jim) Layton Chase (born 19 August 1938 in Los Angeles, California to Michael/Minor L. Chase and Gladys Thelma Groves) on 21 December 1959 in Springville, Utah. They had three children, previously named. They later divorced. (Jim died 22 March 2020 in Ogden, Weber, Utah.)

Bonnie married Edwin John Lemerich Jr. on 30 November 1979. They later divorced.

Bonnie married Golden Junius Young in July 1991. They lived in Bluewater, New Mexico. Bonnie enjoyed his children and grandchildren very much. Golden died at home on 7 August 2009.

Bonnie and her sister Eva Lue used to sing and play their Hawaiian guitars together. Bonnie always enjoyed singing and had a beautiful voice.

Bonnie is especially known for her smile, and for reaching out to strangers or to those needing a friend. She is a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

Bonnie faithfully clung to her temple covenants throughout her life. She and her siblings and parents were sealed together 26 November 1968. Katherine and Lora rejoice that they now can seal their parents, Jim and Bonnie, in the holy temple, and in turn be sealed to them, joining them all together as a family eternally. They will be interred together at the Ogden City Cemetery.
