Jane Hales Stevenson Putnam, 93, passed away January 18, 2013 from age related causes. Jane was born on September 3, 1919 to Wilford S. and Eva Caroline Hales Stevenson in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Clyde M. Cook on July 2, 1938, later divorced. Mom then married Wayne L. Putnam on May 2, 1948. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Portland Oregon LDS Temple on April 26, 1991.
Mom enjoyed gardening, traveling and spending time with her family and friends and lived a long, good life.
Jane is survived by her daughters: Carolyn (Larry) Wakefield and Cheryl Richter; her sons: Steve K. (Debra) and Curtis O. (Sandra) Putnam; daughter-in-law, Helen Cook Wright; 14 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Wilford S. Stevenson, Jr. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wayne, son Clyde M. Cook Jr., son-in-law, Garry O. Richter, and brothers Fred and Jack Stevenson.
Graveside services were held for the immediate family, as mom requested, on January 22, 2013.
