Janet LaDean Burningham

Janet was born April 10, 1937 and passed away August 31, 2017, daughter of Glen and Merle Goff and oldest of five children.  She married Gary Burningham March 29, 1957 in Salt Lake City and was later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple.  Janet was the mother of four children; Lucinda, Sherrie, Curtis and Tammra.  She and Gary lived and raised their children in Bountiful.

Janet enjoyed many hobbies; gardening, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and making porcelain dolls and their clothes, winning many ribbons at the state fair and competitions.  She was an avid reader with interest in reading a variety of things.  She really enjoyed putting a puzzle together and many word games.

Janet and Gary had a great love for the outdoors.  They belonged to a rock hunting club, also an archeology club where they had years of great adventures together.

Janet is survived by her husband, Gary, daughters; Lucinda and husband Steven Ericksen, Sherrie Draper, Tammra and Jayson Cunningham, and son Curtis and Cheryl Burningham.  Siblings; Ronald and Lana Goff, Richard and Shery Goff, Kitty and Tony Lalawn, and Barbra and Lenard Hull.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the Bountiful 39th Ward LDS Chapel on 1500 S. 600 E., Bountiful.  Viewings will be Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful, and Wednesday morning at the church from 9:45-10:45 am prior to the service.
