Janice Day

Janice Lorraine Hansen Booher Day; beloved Mother, Grand Mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend passed away on April 11th, 2014 on her 60th birthday, of a brief and sudden illness.
Born April 11th, 1954 in Bountiful, Utah at home within the loving arms of her parents, Malvern and Edna Bernice Hansen.
Janice began each day with God on her mind, drinking coffee on her porch with the birds of the air: *Matthew 6:26. She loved Jesus and prayed for everything from the smallest creatures of the Earth to the children of His world. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. Her family and friends were always on her mind. The simple pleasures of life brought her joy, such as making jewelry, listening to music, crocheting baby blankets, as well as visiting with friends over coffee.
Janice is survived by her Father, Malvern Hansen. Former husband, Steve Day. Children; Andrea (Ryan) Porter, Tristan Day, Jaime Day (Robert Thompson), and Brandon Day. Grandchildren: Phillip, Ethan and Zoe Porter and Jasmine Thompson. Siblings; Beverly Hansen, Francis Mark (Suzanne) Hansen, Barbara Hansen (daughter Brenda), Clark Hansen, Grace (Dorian) Olsen; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Preceded in death by her Mother, Edna Bernice Hansen and former husband Phillip Richard Booher.
Services: A public viewing will be held Monday, April 21st from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral services on Tuesday, April 22nd at 11am, at Russon Brothers Mortuary: 295 North Main St. in Bountiful, Utah.
The family has requested that in Lieu of Flowers a donation be made to help with funeral expenses at any: America First Credit Union Branch, under “The Janice Day Memorial Account”.
Janice’s name in Hebrew means a Gift from God; she has been this to family and friends.
