Janice Elizabeth Hallaq

Janice Elizabeth Hallaq, 85 of Bountiful, Utah, passed away peacefully in her sleep, December 23, 2022.  Janice was born in Beloit KS on October 24, 1937.  She was raised in Southern California and Washington state and was the only child of Robert L. and Anace E. Fulton.  She received her Bachelor of Science from Central Washington University and her Master of Public Administration from University of Idaho.  She worked as a Medical Technologist at the Children’s hospitals in both Los Angeles and Seattle before moving to Moscow, Idaho with her husband and children to raise her family.  

An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Janice served in many capacities.  She had a deep love and testimony of her Savior Jesus Christ.  Janice met her husband; the late John H. Hallaq at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and they were married in 1962.   Janice will be remembered for her love for the arts, family, and her true passion of raising her children with honesty, integrity, and joy.

Janice is survived by her three loving children, Ameera, Thomas (Tammy) and Layla.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  She has three grandchildren.
