Janice Stewart

August 19, 1931 — March 16, 2014

Bountiful, UT. Janice Gardner Stewart passed away at home on 16 Mar 2014 with her family present. She was born in Leland, UT on 19 Aug 1931 to Archibald Barcley Gardner Sr. and Virginia Williams. She was a dutiful daughter and helped her family on the farm. After graduating from Spanish Fork High, she attended BYU and then U of U graduating with a Batchelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1953. She married her sweetheart Charlie L Stewart in Sept 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple.
She worked as an RN while supporting his work in the LDS church as a social worker through different departments. She loved her jobs in the ward and stake.
She loved to share her skill as an RN. She took wonderful care of people. She and Charlie opened their home to everyone through the years. The numbers are countless. She is prececeded in death by her husband Charlie and parents Archie and Virginia. She is survived by her siblings Barcley Jr. (Renee), Alan (Carol), David (Charlene), Sharon Hope (Dennis), Janeal Light (Keith). Children David (Kim), Raymond (Claudia), Larry (Tim), Vicki Bowman (Norman). Grandchildren: Alicia, Matthew, Joshua, Tyrone, Rhiannon, Nickolas, Lee. Great-Grandchildren
Sage, Baylee, Dominick, Myla, Joshua.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where a viewing will be held 1 hr. prior to services. Interment will follow at the Meadow City Cemetery. Anyone wishing to follow is of course welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the estate of Janice G Stewart .
