Janice Thompson Worsley

Janice Thompson Worsley passed away peacefully on January 29, 2020 surrounded by those she loved. Born to Carol and Claud Thompson on November 6, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Janice spent her life in Utah.

"Driven" barely begins to describe Janice. She went from difficult beginnings to excelling as a project manager at Questar Corporation in Salt Lake City. Her coworkers will remember her hard work as well as her friendship and infectious laugh.

Adored by everyone she met, Janice was known for her love of laughter, easy smile, generous nature, and kind spirit. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

An avid traveler, Janice had the opportunity to explore parts of Europe, Mexico, and the United States with her friends and family.

Throughout her travels and even during her medical struggles, Janice always looked her best. Her classic red nailpolish and stylish jewelry were always intact.

Janice bravely fought the many illnesses to befall her over the last few years of her life, and could always be found with a smile. Throughout her medical difficulties, she was most concerned with the happiness of others.

She is survived by her husband Neal and two sons Chad (Cory Nelson) and Tyler (Addison Justus) and a loving puggle, Titan, all of whom she loved fiercely.

The outpouring of love in support of Janice during her illness was a true gift. The Worsley family would like to sincerely thank everyone who has reached out during this incredibly difficult time. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, gifts be made in Janice's name to the Humane Society of Utah at utahhumane.org.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at the Sterling Heights Ward, 165 West Monarch Drive, Bountiful. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and Tuesday morning
9:45 – 10: 45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
