Janis Hatch Lyday passed away September 20th 2021 at home surrounded by family, and loved ones.
She was born April 8th 1947, to Marvin L. and Ada Cross Hatch in Salt Lake City Utah and is survived by two sisters, three brothers, three children, sixteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and four grandchildren.
Janis was a devoted wife and mother, and enjoyed spending a great deal of time with her extended family. She was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints and is sealed to her family. She has never hesitated to share her testimony of Jesus Christ.
Besides spending time with her family, Janis served in several church and community callings. She enjoyed many hobbies including, home making, sewing, crocheting, cake decorating, collecting antiques, gardening, spending time at the family cabin on the Weber River, and watching the Utah Jazz play.
She will be missed.
