Jared Andrew Milazzo

Jared Andrew Milazzo was born on June 12, 1991 in Austin, Texas to Robert Estil Milazzo and Laureen Lanette Brister.  He is the youngest of three children, Joshua Ryan, and Michelle Annette. 

With his family, they lived in Sandy Utah, Oakland New Jersey, and St. Augustine Florida.  Jared graduated from Bartram Trail High School in 2009.  He then went to college in Utah at LDS Business College, attending a year before leaving on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in Provo, Utah – Spanish speaking mission. 

When he returned from an honorable two-year mission, he continued his studies at LDS Business College where he earned his Associates degree the following year.

To continue with his life goals of serving God, family, country and community, he enlisted into the United States Marine Corps.  After completing his basic training at Parris Island and specialty training at Camp Geiger (as an anti-tank missileman), his first duty station was Marine Corps Base Hawaii.

A couple of months later, he married the love of his life, Jordan Marie Clayton, in the Mount Timpanogos Temple in American Fork, Utah, for time and all eternity on June 7, 2014.  Jared and Jordy had two children, Peter Isaac born August 14, 2016 and Joselyn Riley born September 17, 2017.  Jared not only was a loyal and hardworking Marine, but also a loving and devoted husband and father. One of the memories that his family treasures most is watching him laugh so hard that it would bring tears to his eyes. 

            In November 2017, Jared honorably completed his service as a Sargent in the Marine Corps and relocated his family to St Augustine, Florida.  Jared enlisted in the Army in April 2018, received training as a Technical Engineer 12T, attended Airborne Jump school, and was then stationed at Ft Bragg, NC, where he served honorably with his unit until he returned to his Heavenly home on December 12, 2018.

            Jared will be greatly missed by his loving wife Jordy and precious daughter Joselyn.  He now continues his service to his Heavenly Father, precious son Peter, and the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  His family is grateful for the knowledge of the Plan of Salvation that permits their family to be reunited again after this life.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, December 21, 2018 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah with a viewing from 9:45-10:35 am prior to services.
