Jared Lewis

Jared Matthew Lewis, age 22, passed away in Colorado Springs after a short illness on April 23, 2011. He was born in Seattle, WA on March 6, 1989 to Jeffrey C. and Kathleen M. (Bergley) Lewis, the 3rd of five children. The family moved to Centerville, Utah in 2000. Jared was a great student and graduated from Viewmont High School with high honors in 2007. He loved his job with Vision Security as a lead technician and was a hard worker. Jared loved traveling to many places in the United States and abroad. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends. He was known for his generosity and kindness to others and as a good friend. He was a man of integrity and honor and was remarkably loyal to his employer, co-workers, friends and family. Jared is survived by his brothers, Jason (Heather), Jesse, and Jacob; his sister Jenna; girlfriend Lenzie Anderson; niece Michelle; and grandmothers, aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him every day. His smile and sense of humor added warmth to our lives. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., preceded by a viewing 9-10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Canyon View Stake Center at 2110 N. Main Street, Centerville, UT., 84014.
