Jared Paul Reber

October 14, 1988 — October 5, 2018

Jared Paul Reber, at the young age of 29, passed away unexpectedly in his home on October 5th, 2018.

Jared is survived by his parents Jason and Jodi Reber; his sister Jamie Diaz; nephews McCoy and Jax Diaz; his brother Joshua and wife Madeleine Reber; his sister Jessica Reber; his best friends and god-children.

Jared’s story starts on October 14, 1988 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was the second child born into the family. After spending the first year of his life in Colorado, Jared had the opportunity to spend a few of his young childhood years living in Frankfurt, Germany.  This is where he created the first memories of his life, which were very dear to his heart.  Jared then spent the next 5 years of his life in Cedar City, Utah, where he attended preschool through 3rd grade. Jared was surrounded by extended family members in Cedar City, who loved him dearly. Jared’s next journey was in Salt Lake City (Rose Park). Jared finished up elementary and attended North West Junior High there. He was very involved in the Boy Scout program. He loved and enjoyed working with his leaders, loved going on the outings, and becoming a leader himself. Jared enjoyed exploring the dessert with his dad and visiting old ghost towns. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting with his family. Jared and family moved to Woods Cross where he then spent his high school years. Jared attended Woods Cross High School, where he was able to express his love for acting. He went on to obtain his associates degree at Salt Lake Community College.

Jared’s soul was unlike any other. He loved his family and friends deeply. He was very passionate about the things he cared about most in life. No matter how difficult life was, he tried his hardest to push through. Jared stayed true to who he was, even in the most challenging situations. He had such a loving, kind heart and was loved by many.

Jared was preceded in death by his Grandpa Dan Haycock. Jared was the last grandchild Grandpa Dan welcomed to this earth and is now the first grandchild to return to him in heaven.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, where a viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and Saturday morning 9:00 – 9:45 am prior to services.
