12/11/1977 – 9/4/2016

 

Jason Alexander Nakonechni, 38, of Salt Lake City, Ut, was tragically taken from his family on September 4, 2016.

Jason was born In Perth Amboy, N.J. on December 11, 1977. He was the most beautiful baby boy. He attended school in New Jersey, Southern California, and finally Utah.

He possessed a sharp wit, and a sensitive and generous nature. A natural athlete, his primary to High School years were a flurry of sports teams. He loved baseball, football and soccer. The beautiful southern California sand and surf was in his blood. He loved music and animals, and had many great childhood friends.

Jason moved to Utah at 18. He so enjoyed restaurant resort work during his summer at the Grand Canyon, He quickly set his sights on Park City.  He attended Utah Valley College. Jason trained under several talented chefs, in Heber, Deer Valley and the Canyons and made several life long friends. There his love of skiing and snowboarding began. He often said he had the best of both worlds growing up, The Jersey shore, Pacific ocean and the Utah Mountains.

Jason is at peace, we love him and miss him dearly. He will live in our hearts forever.

He leaves behind his daughter Alexis.  Mother and Stepfather Denise and JT Trella.  Sisters Kristin Stocking (Chad) and Gina Trella and Uncle Michael Nakonechni (Lisa) nephews Jack and CJ Stocking.niece Holly Stocking.  Cousins Nicole Bono, Michael Bono (Natalie). Kymmie Nakonechni.

Preceded in death by father, John Nakonechni. Grandparents Theresa and Michael Sainato. Helen and Stanley Nakonechni.  Aunt Michele Bono. Uncles Mike Sainato jr and Stan Nakonechni.

Reception and prayer service Saturday December 10, 2016 between 9 and 10:45am at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N. Main St, Farmington, Ut.

Graveside service immediately following at 11:00am Farmington City Cemetery, 500 South 200 East, Farmington, Ut. 84025. Online guest book at www.russonmortuary.com
