He was raised in Salt Lake and attended West High School where he was first chair in the band playing the clarinet. He worked for Kennecott Copper Mine for 35 years and his favorite pastime was golf, he even served as marshal at the Eaglewood and St. George golf courses. He was a do-it-yourself man and enjoyed working on cars, building his cabin, and listening to music, as well as oil painting, woodworking and square dancing. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin and in St. George. We will always remember him as a tease and loved listening to his stories.
