Jean Beecher

Jean Keddington Beecher passed away on January 13, 2006 in Sandy, Utah.

She was born November 22, 1918 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Samuel H. Keddington and Isabella Hunter. She married Calvin Beecher on her birthday in 1939 in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple.

Jean was reared in Salt Lake City on Third Avenue between E and F Streets.

Her greatest love outside of her family was playing piano. In her teens she was a member of an all girl dance band and was a professional musician for many years. Jean and Cal shared their piano talents with others from just after their meeting in 1938 to the time of Cal?s death in 1997. Many will not forget Cal and Jean at the piano. Jean is survived by a son Leo of Woods Cross, three daughters, Barbara Repasi of Sandy, Shelley Beecher of Keller, Texas and Pauline Humphrey of Norman, Oklahoma, ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

The family thanks Heritage Place in Bountiful and Alta Ridge Community in Sandy for the assisted living services given to Jean in the last years of her life.

Funeral services will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary at 295 North Main Street in Bountiful on Wednesday January 18 at 11 a.m. Friends may call there Tuesday, January 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. and before the funeral services beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment in the Bountiful Cemetery.
