Our Savior Jesus Christ has destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. Let us remember with thanksgiving what God has done through His servant Ellouise.
Jean Ellouise Bratke was born on December 20, 1932 in Lyman, Wyoming to parents John Avard and Drucilla Rollins. On December 25, 1950, Ellouise was joined in holy matrimony to Eddie Leroy Bratke and was blessed with 35 years of married life together. God blessed them with the gift of children: John and David.
Ellouise was a long time committed servant of Jesus Christ. She reaffirmed her faith in her redeemer, Jesus Christ at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Bountiful in November 2005. She believed in the forgiveness of sins, the power of the Holy Spirit, the free grace given to her and everlasting life by her Savior Jesus Christ.
On May 14, 2015, Ellouise, at the age of 82 years, fell asleep in Jesus. She is survived by her two sons: John (Annette) Bratke, David (Sherrie) Bratke; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Eddie; her parents and her sisters. Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord.
The Lord gives and the Lord takes away; blessed be the name of the Lord. We give thanks to God our Father through Jesus Christ, our Lord, for God’s gift of Ellouise
