She stayed in close contact with many missionaries, companions, friends and families. This is where she met her eternal companion David Harold Matthews. Dave and Jean raised their family of 7 children in West Point, Utah. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving where ever she was needed.
