Jean passed away June 13, 2018, at the age of 85, at Barton Creek Assisted Living Center.
She was born the 5th child of Jed and Lucy Riding. Jean and her twin sister, Joan, were born on July 19, 1932. Her siblings were Emily (Dee) Riding, Alice (Lowe) Henrie, Art (Rubie) Riding, Joan (Dean) Benson, all but her twin Joan have proceeded her in death.
Jean went to South High in Salt Lake and later received her Associates degree in business from SLCC.
She married Max Bleckert after high school (later divorced) and lived in Bountiful, Utah for 50 years. Jean married Fred Timmerman in 1971 until his death in 1980. She later met and married George Robinson until his death in 2013. Her youngest son, Cary Scott, passed away in 2005.
Jean had many passions in her life. First and fore most she loved her large crazy family with all her heart. She loved golfing at her beloved Oak Ridge Country Club where she was a long-time member. She was a terrific cook and set an amazing table. Her yard was always beautiful and her pride and joy. She loved to watch football, especially her Utah Utes. She loved her many dogs and spoiled them to death.
She was also a long-time member of the Sorority Sisters of Beta Sigma Phi, Chapter MA-807 and loved them all dearly.
Jean is survived by her sister, Joan Benson; children Jorjean Rhynesburger, Kathy (Kim) Holyoak, Mark (Kim) Bleckert, Jolene (Russ) Houtz, Jannice Rojas, David (Paula) Bleckert; and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, where a viewing will be held Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and Tuesday morning 9:45-10:45 am prior to services.
