Jeaneene Pollock passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at the Coventry Assisted Living facility in Cottonwood Heights. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is now with the love of her life and soul mate, Sherrell, who proceeded her in death, on May 5, 2002, and welcomed her home. Her son Phil (Flip) Chatelain (Linda) along with Sherrell's children: Jeff Pollock (Shaunna), Cheryl Crook (Russ) and Tammy Creps (John), of St. George, will miss her very much. Jeaneene was born in Denver, Colorado, on August 29, 1930 to John and Mary Holberg. She loved her extended family very much. She loved to cook and enjoyed spending time in the outdoors with Sherrell hunting and fishing. Because they lived in the mountains outside of Duchesne, these opportunities were many. She was an accomplished artist who would decorate cards and notes for friends and family. She also made oil and pastel portraits and landscapes for family and friends. She will be missed by those left behind, but will be lovingly received by many loved ones on the other side. Farewell Jeaneene, we love you dearly. The family would like to thank the following organizations, facilities and their caring staff: Avalon West Health and Rehabilitation, Bristol Hospice Utah, The Coventry Assisted Living facility, and Brighton Home Health and Hospice, Stacy, at Salt Lake County Aging Services, and the compassionate and caring staff of Russon Brothers Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request and appreciate any donations to Russon Brothers Mortuary to help with final arrangements. Thank you, the family.
