Jeff Burningham

February 25, 1971 — December 2, 2014

Jeffrey David Burningham, our beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend, died peacefully in his home on December 2, 2014. He was born on February 25, 1971 to Michael John and Margaret Suedell Weston Burningham. He graduated from Bountiful High School and then served an LDS mission to the Kentucky/Louisville area. He was married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple to his sweetheart, Mary Lyn Goodfellow. Together they adopted 2 wonderful boys to make their family complete.
Jeff was very practical and down-to-earth, something he inherited from his father. But he also knew how to have fun. He enjoyed drawing, playing video games, rock music and going to Dream Theater concerts with his friends. Jeff was very active in the LDS Church, serving at one time as a Bishop. Although he couldn’t attend church physically because of his health, his faith still remained strong. He worked as a Letter Carrier at the US Postal Service and was very good at his job. Jeff gave in life as he gave in death; he was an organ and tissue donor.
He is survived by his wife Mary Lyn, their two sons Kip and Chase, brothers Michael (Tami) and Brad. Preceded in death by his parents.
A viewing will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N. Main St. in Farmington on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 am at the Clinton City Cemetery, 750 W. 800 N.
