Jeffery “Carter” Johnson
1954 ~ 2020
In the early morning hours on December 4th, 2020, Jeffery “Carter” Johnson returned to his Heavenly Father.
Carter was born on June 29th, 1954 to Paul Iverson Johnson and Helen Carter Johnson in Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1972 and later received a technical certificate in computer programming. He excelled in this field and loved what he did.
On October 24, 1998, he married the love of his life, Vickie, in Ogden, Utah. They were later sealed in the Bountiful Temple. Carter was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Though he held many callings through the years, his favorite was being a primary teacher.
Carter was known for his quirky sense of humor, his kind heart and his friendly personality. To know him was to love him. One of his hobbies was martial arts. He enjoyed the association of those he practiced with. He also loved shooting pool and playing golf.
Carter is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Chris, sister, Karie and his son, Steven.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie and their daughter, Shannon. He is also survived by his children; Dan (Tanya), Darren (Leigh) and Lindsey (Jeremy) from a previous marriage. He leaves behind siblings; Cindy, Jay (Alisha), Todd (Heather) as well as three grandchildren; Tess, Amelia and Dean.
He will be greatly missed. We look forward with faith for the day we will be reunited.
