Jeneal Jorgensen

Jeneal Balmforth Jorgensen, age 83, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 28th to be reunited with her sweetheart, Willard Nels Jorgensen.

She was born on March 9, 1927 to Bernice and Ernest Balmforth in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She married Willard Jorgensen on March 22nd 1946 in the Idaho Falls Temple.

She was an elementary school secretary in the Davis County School District for a number of years. Jeneal loved reading. She enjoyed singing primary songs and reading childrens books to her grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting and quilting. She has made many treasured blankets, quilts, and baby booties over the years. She has dearly missed long conversations and spending time with her best friend Will.

She is survived by her six children Noel (Pam) Jorgensen, Bountiful; Siri (Gary) Manwill, Bountiful; Anena Jorgensen, Bountiful; Kevin (Chris) Jorgensen, Bountiful; Allen Jorgensen, Bountiful; Stacie Wilden, Woods Cross; Eight Grandaughters: Marni, Jennifer, Erin, Brennan, Sara, Lisa, Rebekah, and Amanda; Eight Grandsons: David, Troy, Tony, Brock, Erik, Dane, Blake, and by thirty great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Willard, and grandson, Dax.

Her family would like to give a special thanks to her son Allen for the care he has given her over the past four years. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Bountiful Food Pantry.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2010 at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where friends and family may call from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Lakeview Cemetery.
