Jennifer Mae Kraus Burrahm

Jennifer Mae Kraus Burrahm, a friend, sister, aunt wife, and mother, died on August 31, 2021, at Lakeview Hospital. She was born on September 7, 1977, to David and Charlene Kraus in Ogden, Utah.

On September 22, 2007, Jen married Richard Scott Burrahm (Scott). Scott was the love of Jen’s life. The blessing of their son, Bryson Samuel, would only deepen that love. Jen loved being Bryson’s mom.

It is fair to say the other passion in Jen’s life was crafting. It was a family affair, and she loved that both Scott and Bryson would craft with her. She loved all things Halloween and Christmas and never missed an opportunity to decorate for any occasion.

We will forever miss Jen’s creative, loving, and giving spirit. She was a bundle of fun and often invoked tears of laughter in a matter of minutes. Jen was always quick with support and slow to criticize. In her too-short life, she touched so many hearts and lives. The impact of her loss will be felt well beyond her family.

She has been suffering from ongoing medical struggles in the last few years, but she always faced them with grace and optimism. No matter what she was going through, those around her knew that she loved them and thought of them. She had such a beautiful smile that she shared freely.

Jen is survived by her adoring husband, Scott Burrahm, and son, Bryson Samuel. Her parents David and Charlene Kraus. Loving sisters Heidi Kraus and Michele Danielian (Richard). Her nieces and nephews, whom she loved so much: Brittany Kraus, Kellie Danielian, Devin Danielian (Lexus), and her great nephew Lincoln Danielian.  She has several more nieces and nephews on her husband’s side of which she loved very much. Her maternal aunt and uncle Patricia and Claude Armstrong.

We take comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain and suffering but wish we could have one more day with her.

Viewing and funeral services will be held on Jen’s 44^th birthday September 7, 2021 at Russon Syracuse Mortuary, 1585 West 300 South, Syracuse, Utah 84075.  There will be a viewing from 9:45 am – 10:45 am with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 am.  Interment- Ogden City Cemetery.
