Jeremy Duane Palmer

October 8, 1971 — January 13, 2021

Jeremy passed away after a valiant struggle with COVID-19.  The love of his life Lori, son Riley and his Mom and Dad were with him at the end.   Jeremy was born in Ogden, Utah the first child of Duane and Mary Palmer.  Jeremy is survived by his wife Lori (Lorene), sons Riley and Noah, parents Duane and Mary, brother Justin (Tennille) Palmer and sister Dana (Jared) Wahlstrom.

Jeremy was born October 8, 1971 in Ogden, Utah.  He was a good-sized baby and came in making an impression.  New Castle, Colorado was his home through grade school.  Jeremy was a good student and took advantage of the freedom and adventure offered by a small town.  The family moved to Bountiful, Utah where he finished his education graduating from Viewmont High School May 1990.  His interest in cars really took off in auto shop.  He purchased his own first car a 1965 Chevy Impala Super Sport and never looked back.  He opened Beehive Hot Rods in 2004 and later acquired Zipper Motors 2008.  He loved building, creating, and designing hot rods and especially enjoyed the people involved in the sport.  Whenever you went to visit you would find Jeremy working out back in his garage.

Jeremy and Lori were married September 4, 1993 and later sealed in the Bountiful Temple on September 3, 2016. They built a life and family in Farmington.  Jeremy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoyed serving wherever called.  He loved going to the temple every Friday.

Jeremy graduated from Weber State University in 1995 with a dual degree in Automotive and Mechanical Engineering.  He worked at Radius Engineering, ATK and Northrup Grumman.  He loved his work and the people he worked with at Northrup.

He was a loving husband, father, brother, and son. A master designer, mechanic, welder, craftsman, hot rodder, an example to all who he met, a friend to everyone and the Best Husband and Dad.
