Jeri Lynn Perfili Carrico

September 25, 1951 — March 5, 2022

Jeri Lynn Perfili Carrico passed away peacefully at home with her family on March 5, 2022. She fought a courageous battle with COPD.

Jeri was born on September 25, 1951, to Carleen and Albert Perfili. She was raised in Bountiful, Utah and was the second of seven children. She married Randy Ray Carrico and had two children, whom she adored. She stayed home to raise them, and they had many wonderful times. When her children grew up, she worked hard for many years as a CNA. She loved the residents, and they loved her! She was a kind and loving mother and grandmother with a huge heart. She had such a wonderful sense of humor and a warm laugh. Her biggest loves in life were her three grandchildren: Kai, Luke, and Addy. She loved being silly and watching movies with them.

She will be greatly missed by her friends, family, and little dog, Olive, all of whom just adored her.

Special thanks to her best friend Julie and to nurse Ashley and CNA Tiffany from Inspiration Hospice. They made her last month’s immeasurably better. And to her sister, Jackie, who was always there for her and did so much over the years.

She is survived by her brothers, Jim, Joe, and John Perfili (Hope); her sisters, Jackie and Jeannie Perfili; her two children, Jennifer Gurney (Tyler) and Cody Carrico (Ashley); and her three grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Randy Carrico, and her younger sister, Mary Jo Perfili.

There will be a celebration of life for her in the warm summer sunshine on June 12, 2022, from 2 – 4 p.m. at Creekside Park, 600 East Mill Street, Bountiful, Utah in the northeast bowery (pavilion).
