Jerry Duane Fenn passed away April 22, 2014. He was born February 21, 1930 in Salina, Utah to Milburn Reed Fenn and Ila June Reynolds Fenn. He was the second child in a family of four. He graduated from South High School in 1948 and served honorably in the United States Army. He also attended the University of Utah, Utah State University and Westminster College.
He married Faleice Webster, from Caliente, Nevada on June 23, 1951. Jerry and Faleice became the parents of three children: Jerry D. Fenn, Jr. (Sara), Steven Craig Fenn (Sherie) and Linda Ann Stokes (Craig). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren who he loved dearly. Jerry is preceded in death by his beloved wife Faleice, his parents and his brother Warren. He is survived by his sisters, Nancy Hopkins and Susan Bunker.
Jerry retired from the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT). He loved golf and played it almost every day in retirement. Jerry served as 1st counselor in the bishopric of the Rose Park 10th Ward and later served as bishop of the Rose Park 9th Ward. He and Faleice worked together for many years as ordinance workers in the Salt Lake City Temple and in 1999, they served a mission in the LDS Hong Kong Temple for 18 months. Upon their return they moved to St. George, Utah where they made their home until their deaths.
Funeral services will be held Saturday May 3, 2014 at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 200 East, SLC, at 11:00 a.m. A viewing Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery, 3401 S. Highland Drive. Online guestbook is available at www.russonmortuary.com
