Jess DeVoe Terry 1916-2008 The Old West has lost one of its last great Renaissance Men. Jess DeVoe Terry has finished his course, capping a rich life that spanned multiple careers and continents. Born on a dry farm outside Idaho Falls, Jess learned a dedicated work ethic that he applied to an LDS mission to the Eastern Central States, five years of service in the US Army, and a career that took him from floral arranger to postal carrier. Following his service in the Pacific during WWII, he married Edith Hatch in the Salt Lake Temple. He is survived by his sister Ann, his children Jay, Alan, Barbara and Gordon, his seven grandchildren, and his great-grandson Jack. His beloved Edith passed away earlier this year. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 11a.m. at the LDS chapel, 750 S. 200 E., Farmington, with a viewing from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Family and friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brother Mortuary, 1941 N. Main, Farmington across from Cherry Hill.
