Jesse Irene Stone Wilson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and neighborhood grandma, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, Dec. 5, 2013. Born September 15, 1923 in Caldwell, Idaho to Harry Alton Sr. and Luella Christina (Naismith) Stone. Proceeded in death by her eternal sweetheart, Bob Wilson. Brothers, Bill (WWII) and Harry (also a WWII Vet). 2 Daughters in law, Kris and Marie, and a grandson, Blake.
Irene served a mission during WWII in the Northwestern States Mission 1946-1947. Irene had returned from her mission and Bob from military service in Germany by April 1947 and were sealed for time and all eternity in the Mesa Arizona Temple a month later May 1947.
After their marriage they raised their family in Downey, CA where they lived for 45 years in the house that Bob built. They then moved to Farmington, Utah in 1992.
Bob and Irene served in the Bountiful Temple for 3 years until Bobs death in 2002.
Survived by her 4 children, Scott (Vicki) (wife Kris, deceased), Nancy, Jay (wife Marie, deceased), Hawley (Cindy). 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way.
The family would like to thank Harmony Home Care and Hospice, Nicole, Shasta and Elaine, her 3 angel nurses.
Viewing will be Monday, Dec. 9th 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N. Main, Farmington, Utah. Funeral will be, Tuesday Dec. 10th 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel, 1533 N. 1075 W. Farmington, Utah with a viewing from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Farmington Cemetery.
